If so, we want you to join our team as a Direct Care Worker at our Residential Care Home
As a Direct Care Worker working on a casual basis, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort, well-being, and dignity of those in our care.
Duties may include: Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
Supporting mobility and dexterity
Aiding with transfers and lifting using aids
Communicating and assisting with glasses and hearing aids
Distributing clean laundry and attire
Cleaning equipment, utensils, and personal items
Providing transportation for clients
Assisting clients with special needs
Supporting self-administration of medication
Assisting with routine treatments and procedures Essential Criteria Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams
Strong communication abilities, adept at relating to individuals from diverse backgrounds
Proven track record of meeting deadlines
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Competence in performing general tasks under supervision
Limited experience with elderly, frail, or disabled individuals in community/hospital settings?
