About the role We are seeking Auto Electricians to join our Thiess Western Region Maintenance hub located in Hazelmere, working 7/7 Roster. The Maintenance Hub is designed to support repairs and refurbish a variety of Mining Equipment and Components within Thiess and subsidiary internal Asset refurbishment requirements as well as external key Tier 1 mining customers. With a strong pipeline of machine refurbishments including major component changes, this position also offers a great working atmosphere with potential to grow your career into any aspect of maintenance and asset management within the Thiess group. About you Able to conduct thorough diagnostics to identify electrical and electronic faults. Efficiently repair and replace faulty electrical components Proficient in Servicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systems Able to read electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systems Trade certified Auto Electrical Tradesperson Previous open cut mining experience in the maintenance of a heavy earthmoving fleet essential Previous experience with air conditioning systems required HR drivers licence (desirable) Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times What Thiess can do for you Permanent full-time positions Modern workshop facilities Thiess’ commitment to training & development Range of corporate discounts including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail products.
