About the Role
We're seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established infrastructure contractor at their Laverton-based workshop. This permanent, full-time role will see you perform a range of maintenance, diagnostics and overhaul tasks on industry-leading piling and construction plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform mechanical repairs, diagnostics and maintenance
* Working on heavy fixed and mobile plant machinery including hydraulic system diagnostic experience
* Fault-finding and servicing
* Overhaul and modification of plant and equipment
* Support safe and efficient operations of specialised gear
* Collaborate with a skilled workshop team
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification (Diesel Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or equivalent)
* Ideally a few years of experience post-apprenticeship
* Strong hydraulic experience highly regarded
* Safety-first mindset and pride in quality workmanship
* Extra tickets (Forklift, EWP, Rigging, Confined Space) will be viewed favourably
