Whether undertaking new construction or enhancing existing properties with expert brickwork, our skilled team ensures exceptional craftsmanship, completed on time and within budget.Position Summary We are currently seeking a qualified Bricklayer to join our team for prestigious projects across Sydney and surrounding areas.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and handle materials for bricklaying, block laying, and stonework.Mix cement and transport bricks to job sites.Interpret plans and specifications to determine materials and quantities.Measure dimensions and apply basic levelling techniques.Lay bricks, stones, and similar materials for residential construction.Cut and trim bricks using both hand and power tools.Check and measure brick alignment and structure integrity.Restore, repair, and clean existing brick structures.Design and lay mortar between joints.Align and lay bricks in accurate horizontal and vertical lines.Coordinate daily tasks with the foreman to ensure high-quality work.Assist in setting up and dismantling project sites.Apply insulated materials to seal foundations.Utilize trowels and tools to lay mortar and shape bricks and blocks.Support the site manager with WHS (Work Health and Safety) compliance and implementation.Key SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and finishing.Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Positive and enthusiastic attitude, eager to learn and mentor.Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.Qualifications & ExperienceCertificate III (with at least two years of on-the-job training) or Certificate IV in Bricklaying or a related field.Alternatively, three years of relevant full-time experience may substitute formal qualifications.Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in a similar role is required.Remuneration The successful applicant will receive an annual salary of $75,000 plus 11.5% superannuation.Mandatory Application Information In your cover letter or email, please include:Australian or Overseas education backgroundWork experienceResidency status (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Temporary Resident)English language test score (IELTS/PTE) if you are a temporary resident or applying from overseas.Employment Conditions Employment entitlements will be in accordance with the National Employment Standards and relevant Fair Work instruments as prescribed by the Australian Government.Application Instructions Please email your resume and cover letter to: ?? ******: Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred.
