We require a customer service person for our service department. Our personnel are from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
**ROLE**
Globalsonics "Customer Service/ Electronic Technician & Calibration" help to maintain critical performance and safety functions of our sensitive equipment through routine calibrations, preventative maintenance and advanced repairs, ensuring the high standards demanded by the industries we serve, including medical, veterinary & industrial, are achieved.
This role also supports the Customer Care and R&D Departments by providing technical feedback, performing requested services.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- **Diagnose and repair of measurement equipment for calibration**:
- Perform Preventative Maintenance and service in accordance with service manuals
- Ensure product meets critical operating specifications
- Solder and repair to component level (electronic)
- Assemble and test optical components and beam delivery systems
- Perform mechanical and electrical work
- Perform diagnostic tests as well as visual inspections
- Document and produce detailed service and repair reports
- Assist R&D and Quality Engineering in product failure and complaint investigations
- Assist Customer Care by providing technical feedback
- Support continual improvement of troubleshooting guides and preventative maintenance recommendations
- Follow company policies and procedures.
**Required Education and Experience**
- Experience in equipment service and repair is an advantage
- Diploma in one of the following technical field - Mechanical/Electrical Software, Chemistry or Physics

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lane Cove West, NSW 2066: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Electrical Service: 1 year (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
Work Location: In person
