Overview

Coordinator, Rangers Full-time - Ongoing Position Number: 4018 Location: Queanbeyan The Package: $115,265.80 - $127,366.72 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 17 of the QPRC Salary System 2025). Full time – 35 hours per week. Flexible work arrangements will be considered. Looking for your next step in regulatory leadership within a motivated and high‐performing team? Council is seeking a passionate and experienced leader who can inspire, coach and support our Ranger team. This is a newly created position and team, allowing the successful applicant the unique opportunity to play a significant role in building the team and developing and refining processes. We are looking to create a balance between education and enforcement to improve amenity and safety for our local communities.

Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Ranger team to deliver consistent regulatory outcomes.
* Coordinate daily operations and investigations across all Ranger functions.
* Provide guidance on enforcement, evidence gathering and Court‐related matters.
* Provide a high level of customer service.
* Promote community safety through education, engagement and responsive service.
Qualifications
* Has significant experience in regulatory or compliance work
* Demonstrates strong leadership and the ability to motivate a frontline team.
* Brings sound knowledge of Local Government legislation and investigative practices.
* Has high level customer service and community education skills.
* Communicates and manages effectively and delivers community‐focused service
