Your new role:
This unique secondee role offers the opportunity to enhance both clinical practice and academic teaching within Logan Hospital and the University of Queensland. You will contribute to advancing pharmacy education, research, and patient care. You will deliver high-quality clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students at UQ.
Undertake clinical pharmacy practice and student supervision within Logan Hospital.
Engage in collaborative clinical research and contribute to publishing outcomes.
Foster strong professional links between the Hospital and UQ to support innovation and excellence in pharmacy.
About you:
You are an experienced and motivated pharmacist with a passion for clinical practice, teaching, and research. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to advancing pharmacy education and patient care. You will have:
A current registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA and ongoing employment with Logan Hospital Pharmacy.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
Strong teaching and mentoring skills with experience in academic or clinical supervision.
Ability to contribute to clinical research, curriculum development and interprofessional education.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
