About the Company
A South Western Sydney Local Council is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to assist with the day to day responsibilities of the Payroll Team requiring strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
About the Position
Immediate start. An initial 6-month opportunity with likelihood of extension. You will support end-to-end payroll activities and produce a consistent and accurate payroll in addition to delivering payroll support in line with awards and organisational policies.
Duties
* Support end-to-end payroll duties
* Timesheet adjustments
* Leave and entitlement management
* Payroll reporting
* Attend to payroll enquires as they arise
Skills & Experience
* Council experience highly regarded
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in end-to-end payroll processing
* Knowledge using advanced payroll systems
* High level of attention to detail & problem solving skills
