Overview
Wagners is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Multi-Skilled Operator to join our Shepton Quarry team. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently supporting the day-to-day operations to meet Quarry requirements.
About The Role
* Located between Capella and Emerald, QLD
* $42.30 p/hr + 4 weeks annual leave
* 2:1 roster - day shift only
* FIFO from Brisbane + Meals and Accommodation
Key Responsibilities
* As a multi-skilled operator, your key responsibilities may include but aren't limited to
* Loading multi-combination trucks
* Operating Quarry Plant Equipment
* Adherence with all legislative, safety, client, site, plant and operational requirements/procedures
* Conduct pre-start checks including documenting and raising any concerns
* Ensure all repair and maintenance requests are completed and documented correctly
About You
* Current drivers licence
* Proven experience operating a Loader, ideally in the Quarrying or Mining industry
* Basic knowledge of Quarry operations (desirable)
* Front End Loader, Excavator, Haul Truck, and Water Truck experience/tickets (desirable)
* Be mechanically minded
* Pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
* Undergo a National Police check
* Provide 2 references including one professional/supervisor
