Join Parkes Shire Council as a Water Civil Construction Assistant in the Infrastructure team.
In this role, you will support and assist with civil construction and labouring activities within the Infrastructure Services team, focusing on water and wastewater operations. You may be required to be on call for after-hours service requirements.

About You
The successful applicant will require strong communication and teamwork skills. The role may require early starts, late finishes, and participation in the water services on-call roster.
To succeed, you will need:
Current NSW Driver’s Licence
White Card (SafeWork NSW Construction Induction)
Up-to-date Hepatitis A, B, and Tetanus vaccinations
Preferred qualifications include:
Up to one year relevant work experience
Civil Construction certificate or trade qualification
Benefits
The appointment is in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Council policies. The role is classified as Grade 2, with a starting salary of $999.84 per week (approximately $51,000 - $59,000 annually), plus superannuation and salary packaging options.
