This role plays a key part in achieving this goal by building strong relationships with farmers and agribusinesses. You will work closely with these businesses to understand their complex lending needs and provide personalized solutions to help them grow and thrive.
The Senior Agribusiness Relationship Manager will:
* Develop win-win solutions that meet the business needs of your customers and align with Bendigo Bank's growth targets
* Identify new business opportunities and attract new agribusiness customers to our portfolio
* Develop a robust call cycle to ensure visibility across Mt Gambier, Penola, Keith, Mundulla, Tintinara, Robe, Millicent, and Lucindale
* Partner with network stakeholders to develop and implement localised engagement plans for successful outcomes
* Drive profitable growth by meeting sales targets, converting referrals, and delivering results you can be proud of
* Mentor and grow the skills of fellow Agribusiness Relationship Managers and Associates
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* A tertiary qualification in agribusiness, finance, or a related discipline
* The ability to undertake travel and possession of a current 'C' class driver license
We would also love you to have:
* Demonstrated expertise in agribusiness or lending and credit risk principles
* Up-to-date knowledge of agriculture market conditions, agribusiness products, cash flows, and markets
* Financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
