Job Details
The Software Engineer (ETL Developer) will support Services Australias Data Curation Section by building and maintaining automated ETL data integration solutions within a Teradata environment and other platforms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Support delivery of data assets and improve data management capabilities
* Build data integration applications to ETL data into data warehouses and lakes (RDBMS/HDFS)
* Perform analysis, prototyping, development, testing, and maintenance in Teradata EDW
* Develop and maintain complex SQL programs
* Analyse technical requirements and provide solution evaluations
* Deliver high-quality Management Information solutions
* Use tools like SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio, Viewpoint, Pcom, Control-M
* Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
* Focus on data integrity between source and target systems
* Analyse complex business processes and requirements
