Digital Marketing Operations Manager (Hybrid role – Byron Bay) | Part-Time (10–20hrs/week) | $AUD 60-80/hr

We are WLDM, a US-based company working with private equity and Enterprise clients. We're hiring a part-time Digital Marketing Operations Manager to keep our projects, people and processes running at the highest level. This is a hybrid role based near Byron Bay (2 hours/week in-person with the CEO ), with flexible remote work the rest of the time.
This role is perfect for someone with a background in digital marketing, project management, operations or working in a tech company. We are looking for someone who thrives in managing complex, fast-moving digital projects with precision and creativity - especially those pushing the boundaries of AI and SEO.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Process & Workflow Optimization – Streamline our link-building, content, data science and SEO operations to improve efficiency and scalability.
* Team Management & Coordination – Oversee and support our outreach specialists, content creators, and SEO strategists, ensuring smooth collaboration.
* Quality Control & Deliverables – Ensure campaign outputs meet high standards of relevance, quality and SEO alignment.
* Client Project Management – Oversee timelines, deliverables and communication to keep projects on track and clients satisfied.
* Technology & Tools Management – Oversee tools like Trello, ClickUp, HubSpot, Ahrefs and other digital platforms to streamline our operations.
* Performance Tracking & Reporting – Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for campaign success, team productivity and operational efficiency.
* Problem Solving & Troubleshooting – Address bottlenecks and challenges quickly, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Bonus: Shaping Backlink Strategy – Experience in backlinking is a plus, but not required.
Who You Are:
* Proven experience in digital marketing - ideally in an agency or SEO-driven environment.
* Strong project management skills – You can handle multiple campaigns, deadlines and deliverables with ease.
* Experience in a remote working environment + in project management.
* Excellent leadership & communication skills – You can manage a remote team, are comfortable working directly with the CEO and ensure alignment and smooth workflows across all departments.
* Bonus: Experience with backlinking or SEO campaigns (not essential).
* Located in or near Byron Bay for hybrid work (2 hrs/wk onsite with the CEO, office is 10 mins from Mullumbimy).

Compensation & Onboarding
* $AUD 60–80/hour, depending on experience.
* Must be based around the Byron Bay area to be able to attend weekly personal meetings with the CEO. Please include your location so we can assess your application. Applications without a listed location cannot be considered.
* Part-time role: 10–20 hrs/week. This role can progress into a full-time role for the right candidate. There are plenty of opportunities in this company.
* Initial trial period (1–2 weeks) to assess fit and alignment.
* Onboarding includes hands‑on training directly from the CEO and Head of Operations for the first three months.
