About the role
Damien Frew Painting is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. As a full time position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services to both residential and commercial clients in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding and applying primer
* Painting walls, ceilings, and trim using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
* Hanging and removing wallpaper
* Mixing paint colours to match specific requirements
* Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment throughout projects
* Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
* Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years\' experience as a Painter & Decorator, preferably in the Trades & Services industry
* Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
* Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Valuable problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform physical labour
* Valid driver\'s licence and reliable transportation
* Full driver\'s licence required
* Australian citizenship required
