Job Summary
Driver Training Instructors are required to assist employees in addressing personal governance issues and resolving suspensions of their Motor Drivers Licence (MDL). This involves guiding them through the process of obtaining a Learners Permit, as well as providing practical driving instruction by qualified driving instructors.
* Key responsibilities include assisting with Department of Transport practical driving assessments, supervising employees while they satisfy log book hours required for a provisional MDL, and helping them prepare for the hazard perception test and application for MDL. Additionally, educators must educate employees on legal requirements and personal responsibilities related to maintaining their MDL and vehicle registrations.
