Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Building & Architectural Technician to provide specialist technical support across our development projects. The successful candidate will assist architects, surveyors, and construction managers with drawings, site inspections, cost and time estimation, and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist architects, surveyors, and construction managers in planning and organising project activities.
* Interpret architectural/construction plans, regulations, and codes of practice.
* Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings, technical specifications, maps, or charts.
* Coordinate work programs, estimating time scales, costs, and resources for project activities.
* Inspect work and materials on-site for compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
* Support surveying, data collection, plotting, and routine technical computations.
Required Skills & Experience
* Diploma or Advanced Diploma (or equivalent) in Architecture, Building Design, Surveying, or related field, or demonstrated relevant experience.
* Experience in building/construction/development environments.
* Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, materials, and construction methods.
* Proficiency in technical drawings and AutoCAD or equivalent software.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and collaborative skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
