About the role: Reporting to the Senior Administration Manager, some of your duties for the role will include: Ensure Medicare and DVA rejections are addressed promptly and in line with policy Assist in answering queries and investigating any billing anomalies that arise Support staff in expanding their understanding of outpatient workflows and billing practises Lead and facilitate Medicare Outpatient Compliance training sessions for new staff Investigate outpatient billing issues based on advice from Revenue Operations and provide effective solutions About you Effectively interacting with people from diverse backgrounds such as professional and nonprofessional staff, external agencies, and community members Ability to teach and support staff on outpatient billing workflows and Medicare compliance, with support from Revenue Operations Sound broad administrative skills with intermediate computing abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient booking systems Strong understanding of Medicare Billing for Private Outpatient Policy Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
