What you will do
* Action alarms in our monitoring automation software
* Handle high volume inbound and outbound phone calls
* Dispatch security patrols and emergency services when required
* Deliver consistently high customer service
* Enter data accurately
* Provide basic technical support to end users
Skills and experience
* Calm under pressure, strong decision making, great teamwork and the ability to work unsupervised
* Excellent communication and customer service
* High attention to detail with good use of initiative
* Solid literacy and numeracy
* Proficient with Microsoft applications
* Competent touch typist with high accuracy
* Technically savvy and eager to learn
Roster and pay
* Twelve hour shifts on a repeating cycle of 3days on, 3days off, 3 nights on, 3 days off etc.
* Shift loadings and penalty rates are paid on top of base rate as per the the Security Services Award
* Any additional hours outside your roster receive the relevant loadings or penalty rates
Licensing and eligibility
* Able to obtain and maintain a Queensland Monitoring Security Licence
previous alarm monitoring experience or holding a Queensland Monitoring Security or Queensland Security Guard Licence is an advantage
* Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents
