Job Description
As a Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting rehabilitation and return to work outcomes within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
* Manage case loads with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
* Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
* Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
* Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
* Conduct assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
* Deliver the virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
* Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or eligibility to apply
* Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
* Excellent communication skills
* Compassion, kindness, and empathy
* Well-developed time management skills
* Current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
