Service Technician Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing the Gympie Region by installing manufactured products in a safe and timely manner.
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday with 38 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively within a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpreting work plans and paperwork, measuring and installing products on various work sites;
* Conducting site assessments and rectifying any issues with products where necessary;
* Communicating with customers regarding the service and install of their products;
* Glazing of glass products;
* Demonstrating good communication skills and ability to work within a broader team environment;
* Upholding a commitment to safe work practices and complying with all site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign-in or other processes and procedures
Requirements:
* A valid, unrestricted driver's license issued for the appropriate vehicle category;
* A Construction White Card;
* Previous experience using hand and power tools;
* An approachable attitude while demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices;
* Trade qualifications desirable but not essential
