Onsite Heavy Vehicle Mechanic: Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains heavy vehicles and trailers in office to ensure safety and minimize downtime.
Position
Onsite Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Purpose
Provide onsite servicing, repair, and maintenance of heavy vehicles and transport equipment (trailers, dollies, PBS units) to ensure safety, compliance, and minimal downtime.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on heavy vehicles and trailers.
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Complete brake, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
- Maintain accurate service and parts records.
- Work safely in compliance with company and customer standards.
Skills & Experience
- Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (or equivalent).
- Experience with trailers and transport equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites.
- Current driver’s licence.
