Calvary Mater Newcastle – Permanent Full‐Time position.

As Patient Liaison Officer you will play a pivotal role in the Patient Services Department by providing accurate and timely information to patients, relatives and staff about the use of private health insurance in a public hospital as well as other Chargeable classifications.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring all admission documentation is signed in accordance with policy.
* Running daily reports.
* Maintaining statistics.
* Conducting insurance eligibility checks.

* Demonstrated experience providing high‐quality administrative support within a healthcare or clinical environment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively and respectfully with a diverse range of people.
* Proven high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of work.
* Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines.
* A genuine commitment to working collaboratively within a team and contributing to a mission‐based organisation dedicated to the care and wellbeing of others.
Role Details
* Permanent Full‐Time
* Salary Classification: Admin Officer Level 3 Yr 1‐2.
* Remuneration: $35.84 to $36.96 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
