What You'll Do
* Respond to corrective maintenance work orders and unplanned fire system faults within contract‐specified response times.
* Conduct root cause analysis and diagnosis using manuals, standards and asset history.
* Perform rectification works including repairs or replacements of faulty fire system components.
* Implement make‐safe or temporary repairs when required and escalation of major component replacement.
* Verify and test corrective maintenance works, ensuring compliance to standards and Defence policies.
What You'll Bring
* Certificate III in Fire Systems Testing and Inspection.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory).
* Post‐trade experience in fire systems fault diagnosis, corrective maintenance and repair.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis, fault finding and compliance testing to restore fire systems to operational condition.
* Experience responding to unplanned or reactive work orders within required response times.
