Overview
Location: Darwin, Australia. Sector: Medical & Nursing. Salary: $2500 per day.
The Role
Interesting pathology in an even more interesting location. You'll be based in the lab of a tertiary level hospital, servicing a network of six public hospital laboratories. The laboratory is classified as a Category GX laboratory and is responsible for providing supervision and support to the other five regional (Category B) laboratories. The service includes microbiology (bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, molecular microbiology, parasitology, and serology), anatomical pathology, chemical pathology, haematology, blood transfusion, forensic pathology and genomics. The tropical location combined with a patient population ensures medical staff are exposed to a wide range of interesting and varied clinical presentations.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8 hours per day
Rate: $2500 per day
Provisions: Travel, accommodation and hire car provided
Requirements
* General Anatomical Pathology experience
* Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA)
