In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in managing all aspects of cost estimating and quantity surveying for our construction projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of our business and work alongside industry-leading experts.Key Job Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projectsAnalyse and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documentsMeasure and quantify construction materials and labour requirementsNegotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier contractsMonitor project costs and provide regular progress updates to stakeholdersAssist with the preparation of tender submissions and proposalsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering strategiesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionalsBasic Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industryDegree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related fieldProven track record of preparing accurate cost estimates and managing construction budgetsExcellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailProficient in using CostX and MS Office applicationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdditional RequirementsPhysical: Ability to conduct site walks and attend in-person meetings at client locations.Cognitive: Strong critical thinking, technical writing, negotiation, and multitasking abilities.Logistics: This is a full-time, hybrid role; off-hours work may be required to accommodate operations or agency schedules.Technical: Must be familiar with remote systems access and able to manage reporting in fast-paced environments.
