About the Role
We're looking for a full‑time Pool Service Technician to join our Cairns team and help keep local pools looking crystal clear. You'll be out on the road five days a week, servicing everything from backyard plunge pools to high‑end set‑ups across Manunda and surrounding suburbs.
We're building a strong team of good people who take pride in their work (without taking themselves too seriously). Whether you're already in the trade or just a practical legend who learns fast, this is an excellent role for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, chatting with customers, and soaking up the outdoors.
What You'll Be Doing (aka: Stuff You'll Get Paid For)
* Servicing residential and commercial pools across the Cairns region
* Testing and balancing water using our easy‑to‑use equipment
* Troubleshooting pool equipment and replacing faulty parts
* Installing gear like pumps, filters, and chlorinators
* Providing friendly, down‑to‑earth advice to pool owners
* Driving between jobs in a company‑provided van
* Keeping simple job records and notes
* Assisting with pool gear sales and upgrades where needed
What You'll Need to Bring
* A valid Australian driver's licence (manual is a big plus)
* Solid English communication skills – verbal and written
* A bit of initiative and the ability to work independently
* Physical fitness and a willingness to get your hands dirty
* Previous pool or trade experience is great but not essential – we'll train you up
