Job Description
Deliver day-to-day care to young people in a Residential Care house, promoting life-skills development and managing challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide a safe and therapeutic environment for young people to grow and learn
2. Support and manage complex and challenging behaviours in a consistent and calm manner
3. Build rapport and remain non-judgmental whilst maintaining professional boundaries
4. Plan individual and group activities to meet the young people's needs and goals in line with Case Plans
5. Use daily routines to provide hands-on training of life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care
Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to provide a safe and supportive environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with vulnerable young people
