Description
Looking to kick start your career in analytics and get hands on experience with real business impact?
We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our Business Improvement team, supporting the commercial side of the business through data, insights, and modelling.
In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Commercial Analyst to maintain and develop our customer profitability model, helping ensure our data, drivers, and outputs accurately reflect how the business operates. You will be working across large datasets, pulling insights, and supporting decision making across operations, sales, and finance.
This is a great opportunity to build strong technical capability while gaining exposure to a fast paced and operationally complex environment.
What you will be doing:
* Supporting and maintaining the customer profitability model
* Analysing revenue, cost, and volume drivers
* Investigating and explaining performance trends and variances
* Working with stakeholders to translate business activity into data insights
* Producing regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis
* Improving data quality, automation, and reporting processes
* Supporting legacy Excel tools while contributing to longer term system improvements
Qualifications
* Strong Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables
* Experience with Power Query and exposure to SQL
* High attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset
* Someone who is curious, asks questions, and challenges the data
* Ability to communicate insights clearly to non technical stakeholders
* 0 to 3 years experience in an analyst or data focused role
