The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity presents for a talented and experienced Event Manager, with a passion for marketing and sponsorship negotiations, to join our team. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of a range of exciting events, including the seasonal mobilisation and execution of Villager, Mt Buller.
You will build excellent relationships with clients, partners and suppliers, while working in collaboration with other departments to deliver exceptional experiences, on time and within budget.
About You
It is imperative that you have a passion for hospitality and are committed to delivering exceptional events in addition to having at least 4 years Event Management experience.
In addition you will have:
Great relationship building skills and exceptional time management
A dynamic and passionate attitude towards food & beverage
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, along with strong administration skills
Pro-active and innovative approach to potential clients, sponsorship partners & marketing strategies
High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task/manage multiple events
Ability to make decisions, in line with company policies & procedures
Exceptional personal presentation
Outgoing personality with strong negotiation skills
Enjoy adapting to a fast paced yet fun environment
Previous experience working with a catering company will be highly regarded
