About the Role
Proactive Services ensures trolleys are available and stores are pristine, enabling customers and colleagues to work and shop in a hygienically clean environment.
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities
* Be a hands‐on leader, working across different stores and motivating your team to do their best work.
* Partner with various store teams to provide outstanding service.
* Lead, coach, and develop a team within cleaning, trolley collection, and waste support.
* Create and manage the roster to ensure all daily tasks and operations are covered.
* Work with Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
* Complete time and attendance activities for your team: track hours, manage absences, and ensure compliance with company policy.
* Order consumables for stores (cleaning supplies) and maintain within budget.
* Provide hands‐on contribution by performing core operational tasks alongside the team.
Qualifications
* An ambitious mindset, love of retail, and passion for people.
* Flexibility to work in different environments (shop floor, fridges, freezers, carparks).
* Good eye for cleanliness and small details.
* Physical fitness, as the role involves physically demanding tasks.
* Ability to work with other Department Managers and Store Leadership to plan and coordinate routines.
* Organised to ensure team has equipment and supplies to work safely and efficiently.
* Comfortable working within a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct).
* Valid full Australian driver's licence (Green P's or full licence) essential for trolley collection using vehicles.
