About the role
: Caring for all acute Cardiology presentations, including STEMI, cardiac arrhythmia, heart failure, and percutaneous valve interventions.

Where you'll be working: John Hunter Cardiology provides inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children with conditions that affect their heart such as heart attack, angina, heart failure, heart rhythm disturbances. It is the largest centre outside Sydney and has led major innovations in the treatment of heart problems throughout NSW and Australia.
Our inpatient services are available 24 hours per day and patients are cared for within our specialist cardiology units:
5. Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
6. Ward G3
7. Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (CCL)
At John Hunter Hospital, we have an 8 bed Coronary Care Unit, 16 monitored beds within Ward G3C (Cardiology), and an additional 4 beds for pre and post-procedure patients.

8. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
