Join the team as a Clinical Nurse Consultant Equipment and Materials, supporting high‐quality perioperative care in the Operating Room Suite.
Role
This role is integral in the provision of quality and contemporary perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room Suite functioning as an advanced practitioner leading and managing equipment and consumable items.
* The Operating Room Suite is a dynamic and fast‐paced environment requiring the successful applicant to have a strong ability to prioritise tasks, adapt and respond to continuously changing situations.
* A high level of communication, problem solving and organisational skills are required attributes to ensure success in the role.
* Attention to detail and a desire to undertake quality improvement activities is essential.
Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* Registered Nurse with registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Desirable criteria:
* Holds or is working towards a relevant post‐graduate tertiary qualification.
* Member of a relevant professional nursing organisation.

Salary
$118,297 to $125,543 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
Location
LGH Charles Street, Launceston. Launceston General Hospital, Tasmania.
Employment Type
Permanent, full‐time day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight.
