What You'll Lead: Strategic Marketing Leadership - Drive integrated marketing strategy and campaign planning across Sydney Kings, Flames and Academy brands while collaborating with ticketing and membership teams Digital Campaign Management - Lead performance marketing initiatives across all paid channels while mentoring the Digital Marketing Specialist and optimising data-driven ROI outcomes Media Relations & Crisis Management - Serve as primary media spokesperson, cultivate journalist relationships, and manage all communications including crisis response and reputation protection Content Strategy & Production - Direct creative content planning, oversee high-quality video/visual production for game days and campaigns while ensuring strategic brand alignment Brand Consistency & Fan Engagement - Champion unified brand voice across all touchpoints and develop storytelling initiatives that create emotional connections between fans and players Performance Analytics & Optimisation - Monitor marketing KPIs, analyse campaign effectiveness, and implement data-driven improvements to maximise budget efficiency and marketing impact What You Bring: Tertiary qualification in marketing, media or communications together with a proven track record delivering integrated campaigns with strong team leadership and mentoring capabilities Hands-on experience with performance platforms, marketing automation, and data-driven optimization across multiple channels Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated experience managing media relationships and tight deadlines Understanding of Australian sports landscape, fan engagement dynamics, and preferably basketball culture with ticketing/membership experience would be helpful but not essential Video content creation knowledge, editorial instincts, and innovative campaign development with strong project management abilities Ready to Lead Our Marketing Strategy?
