About our client
Our client is a Perth-based landscaping group with multiple brands and a strong residential focus. Operating across the metro area from Baldivis to Yanchep, the company manages approximately 7–8 projects concurrently, ranging from small-scale jobs to more complex multi-week installations. Backed by an internal sales and design team, the business has a consistent flow of high-end residential landscaping work. They are structured for growth, with existing capacity booked for five project managers over the next six months. This role supports their strategic expansion across residential markets.
About the opportunity
This is a full-time project management role overseeing residential landscaping projects from initiation through to completion. The position involves cost management, contractor oversight, scheduling, and client engagement.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver $250,000/month in revenue with a 10% margin above estimated targets
* Complete 90% of projects within the agreed timeline and budget
* Maintain 95% client satisfaction across all managed projects
* Onboard new contractors or suppliers
You will be responsible for managing active works on-site, leading contractors, liaising with clients, and coordinating internal design and sales teams. The role is dynamic, with the potential for long-term development into senior leadership. Initial onboarding includes shadowing existing project managers and operating under the guidance of the operations manager.
About you
The ideal candidate will have a background in landscaping or construction project management and is confident managing multiple projects. You are structured in your approach and comfortable in client-facing roles.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Qualification in building trade, project management or landscape construction
* Manual driver's licence and current white card
* Police clearance or ability to obtain one
* 4+ years' experience managing construction/landscaping projects
* Experience with contract administration and contractor coordination
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks and maintain clear project tracking
* A proactive mindset and ability to lead and mentor site crews
* Experience achieving project KPIs related to budget, timeline, and client satisfaction
