Technical Event Producer Role
We are seeking an ambitious Technical Event Producer to join our team.
About the Job
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual who is passionate about leading technical event production. As a Technical Event Producer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering "audience-first" experiences on a wide range of corporate events including conferences, incentive events, product launches, networking events, gala dinners, activations and virtual events.
Responsibilities
* Plan and Deliver Events: Work alongside other production staff to lead and/or support the technical aspects of delivering an event.
* Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and advice to clients and colleagues.
* Design and Implement Solutions: Design and implement creative technical solutions for events and manage onsite coordination and delivery.
* Lead Production Roles: Take a lead production role on certain events and client relationships that have a more technical production focus.
* Budget Management: Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring expected financial targets are maintained.
* Venue Selection: Provide advice on venue suitability for technical delivery and attend site visits.
* Client Communication: Prepare and update documents for client approval.
* Vendor Management: Liaise with and coordinate third-party resources/vendors as required.
* Content Creation: Collect and collate content for on-site playback and presentations.
* Project Management: Create schedules and relevant documentation for onsite production.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Corporate Audio-Visual Experience: A strong background in corporate audio-visual production is required.
* Time Management: Exceptional time management and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines.
* Software Proficiency: High-level experience with Vectorworks, providing both 2D floorplans and 3D renders, and mid-level experience of MS Office products including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
* Creative Skills: Experience with the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, and Canva.
