With their exponential growth, they are excited to bring a Senior Consultant – Taxation Services that can provide great value and expert advice for a portfolio of high-profile clients.
The Role The Senior Consultant will be a trusted advisor in a range of accounting, taxation, and business subjects. Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role is perfect for someone who wants to continue working or transition to a tax specialist role.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio with clients ranging from some of the largest private groups in Australia to small-cap ASX listed companies.
Key Responsibilities
Consulting to various Divisions of the practice re taxation issues e.g. client re-structures, tax planning assistance, tax strategies, etc.
Drafting of technical advice on income tax and capital gains tax issues
Researching tax issues as well as developing materials to be presented internally and externally
Ensure completion of statutory compliance work, which may include:
Completion and review of all financial statements
Completion and review of income tax returns
Completion of Activity Statements
Completion of FBT returns
Review any final work allocated to the accountants and graduates as required
Skills and Experience
CA / CPA Qualified – minimum 3 years in a similar role
Tertiary qualified in commerce, accounting or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Be highly committed and have a strong work ethic
Exceptional attention to detail and building strong relationships
Demonstrated experience in software such as: Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Excel, MS Office
