As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, aesthetics, and safety. You will work on residential and commercial projects, collaborating with other trades and clients to bring designs to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building codes and techniques, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will also be responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring that all projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
* Select appropriate materials based on project requirements and specifications.
* Measure and cut materials to precise dimensions using various hand tools and power tools.
* Ensure that all work is performed according to safety standards and building codes.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and clients to ensure successful project completion.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly store tools and materials.
Requirements
* Relevant Trade qualifications- Certification III or IV or équivalent overseas qualification
* Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
* Knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods including installation and construction.
* Familiarity with tools, materials, and safety practices related to carpentry.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent physical condition and stamina; able to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Remuneration:
* Base salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus super and bonus opportunities (based on previous skills and experience).
