SMAART Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Venue/Cafe Manager for on of Richmond best brunch spots.
Cherished by locals for its outstanding specialty coffee, delicious seasonal menus, and its warm, community-focused atmosphere. They truly pride themselves on consistent quality, exceptional service, and cultivating a welcoming space for every customer.
As Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring an exceptional customer experience, leading a high-performing team, and overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the cafe.
This is a hands-on leadership position, perfectly suited for someone who thrives on being actively involved on the floor, mentoring staff, and setting a high standard for service. You'll lead both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, guiding them to achieve excellence daily.
We're looking for someone who brings:
* 3+ years of experience in a managerial capacity within a cafe, restaurant, or similar hospitality venue.
* Strong barista skills and in-depth knowledge of specialty coffee.
* A natural leader with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
* Demonstrated experience with ordering systems, efficient staff rostering, and basic financial management.
* The flexibility to work weekends and the ability to lead effectively from the front.
