- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Read and understand the daily production schedule
- Prepare the machine ready for daily production
- Retrieve inserts as required
- Anti-Seize all bolts
- Check clamps on tools for tightness
- Check framework on tools for cracks
- Clean/replace breathers
- Daily Crane Inspection
- Identify, communicate, and report hazards
- Identify and report quality issues
- Tool changes as per daily production schedule
- Demould all products
- Train Product Specialist in trimming parts
- Attach SWI to all tools before removal from the machine
- Escalate issues with achieving production schedule
- Recording and labelling of rejects
- Input cycle time into PLC
- Basic troubleshooting and escalation of machine issues
- Read and understand SWI's and SOP's
- Complete Inspection reports for QA purposes
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Request tools from the Material Mover for scheduled tool changes
- Raise Continuous Improvement ideas
- Shift handover to incoming shift
- Works under general supervision.
- Limited coaching on the job and limited checking of others work.
- Participates as an effective team member.
- Shares gained knowledge.
- Guides less experienced staff.
- Solves related problems in work area using problem solving techniques that go beyond set procedures, requiring minor analysis & investigation.
- Interacts with people via the use of written documentation to give or receive straightforward facts.
- Deals with routine enquires from other sections within the plant.
- Minimises conflict at work.
- Regularly communicates with Supervisor to advise of issues /progress.
- Has general understanding of the Company mission and values.
- Understands the roles of section dealt with during course of work.
- More detailed knowledge of own section's roles and functions.
- Complies with occupational health and safety regulations & policies and engages in safe working practices.
- Report any incidents / accidents or pain complaints immediately
- Work in a safe manner that does not put you or your work colleagues in danger.
- Complies with all safe work procedures, traffic management and PPE requirements.
- Do not operate a tool or process without the appropriate training and competency.
