As Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will join the product and engineering team. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering across both product development and day-to-day business operations — spanning mobile applications, connected wearable devices, and cloud-native services.
You will play a key role in shaping product requirements, supporting testing efforts, keeping teams aligned, and helping translate user and business needs into clear, buildable specifications. You will also step into delivery coordination when needed.
Role responsibilities
* Shape and refine business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria across mobile, wearable device, and web-based projects.
* Work with engineers to gather technical input, define integration points, and produce API documentation, data flow diagrams, and system logic documentation where required.
* Collaborate with internal development teams (local and offshore) and third-party vendors to ensure clear, shared understanding of requirements.
* Partner with UI/UX designers to ensure the product experience aligns with business needs, user research, and technical constraints.
* Monitor and triage incoming BAU requests, support issue investigations, and assist with coordination of enhancements and fixes.
* Support testing activities including preparing test cases, performing UAT, and capturing results across mobile, connected devices, and web platforms.
* Investigate bugs and system issues, working with developers to identify root causes and track resolutions through to closure.
* Own and maintain internal documentation in Confluence, covering product features, business processes, and technical flows.
* Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives and cross-functional workshops to keep delivery on track.
* Support day-to-day delivery execution by tracking sprint progress, managing blockers, and stepping in where needed to maintain momentum.
* Support data gathering, querying, and analysis to inform decision-making, validate features, and measure outcomes.
* Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and scope changes; document and communicate them with appropriate context and recommendations.
* Step in across disciplines when needed — this is a team that values people who see a gap and fill it.
Role requirements
* Bring 6+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst, within software product or digital platform teams
* Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within software driven projects, more specificly the development of web / mobile applications or SAAS solutions
* Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with hands‐on experience running core ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‐ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
* Experience supporting delivery processes such as sprint execution, backlog management, or project coordination.
* Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, testable functional and technical requirements.
* Comfortable working directly with developers and technical stakeholders to understand system behaviour, APIs, and integrations.
* Experience reading and contributing to API documentation (e.g. Swagger/OpenAPI specs, sequence diagrams, integration specs).
* Proficiency with agile tools and processes, including Jira and Confluence.
* Solid UAT and testing support experience, including writing test cases and capturing structured results.
* Ability to produce clear process flows, data flow diagrams, and system context diagrams using tools such as Lucidchart, draw.io, or Miro.
* Strong stakeholder communication skills — able to present clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences
Nice to have experience, but not essential
* Experience with mobile app delivery (iOS and/or Android) across both consumer and enterprise contexts.
* Exposure to IoT, connected hardware, or platforms that span both physical devices and cloud software
