Strong, well-organised administration team booking appointments, invoicing, and managing NDIS changes, leaving our therapists to focus on their caseload.
New Graduates: 2-week induction including training and development and shadowing.
Occupational Therapy experience in very remote communities which is rare
Role Requirements
The provision of Occupational Therapy services to existing participants and clients of our organisation, with emphasis on providing the best possible interventions and strategies;
Excellent quality service in providing occupational therapy services;
Efficient running, cleanliness and general house-keeping in the premises;
Assisting Therapy Assistants with providing strategies and intervention which compliment Occupational Therapy Services.
To act in a friendly and professional manner.
Report writing and goal setting within NDIS protocols, private sector, and Home Care Packaging.
Work with individuals with a range of physical, sensory, behavioural, emotional, and cognitive needs.
Qualifications & Experience required
Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.
AHPRA Registered.
Able to demonstrate that you are open to working in a regional town, can demonstrate strong initiative, organised and work with a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong documentation skills for reporting.
NDIS experience not necessary but appreciated
This position is open to New Graduates and experienced OTs.
National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months.
Current Working with Children's Check.
Vaccinations up to date.
Current C Class Drivers Licence and suitable Vehicle.
Ability to manage caseload with some assistance from Admin and Supervisor.
