As a Senior Interior Designer, you'll be an integral part of our design team, working on a diverse range of projects across workplace, commercial and education/health. You'll collaborate with architects, strategists, and other designers to create thoughtful and innovative interior environments that enhance how people live, work, and connect.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Lead the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and innovation.
* Develop and present compelling design concepts, material palettes, and spatial strategies.
* Oversee/participate in documentation, ensuring high-quality detailing and technical accuracy.
* Manage client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to coordinate design intent and project delivery.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their professional growth.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices to inform innovative solutions.
Qualifications
* 8 + years' experience with a leading interior design firm, with a strong portfolio of completed commercial workplace or hospitality projects.
* Experience working with clients across commercial sectors is essential, ideally with a good working knowledge of the Australian market.
* Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Revit is essential, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape (or other rendering tools).
* Ability to lead and inspire design teams, with strong conceptual thinking and attention to detail.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Project Management experience in coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines effectively.
* A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
