The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director Human Resources, this pivotal role of Specialist Remuneration and Benefits is a strategic advisor across compensation, incentives and benefits for the Australian Business Unit. This opportunity will see you joining the People & Capability team as the principal adviser on remuneration initiatives, projects, reporting and analysis.
As a trusted advisor you will collaborate with key stakeholders to provide data-driven insights to inform remuneration decisions that align with AGA business objectives, industry benchmarks, and promote employee engagement and retention.
Accountabilities:
1. Partner with both the Talent Acquisition and Business Partnering teams in relation to the day to day management of remuneration and benefits queries
2. Acting as the technical expert while working closely with HRBPs, senior leaders and external consultants
3. Lead the annual performance, bonus, and salary review processes, ensuring efficient execution within budget.
4. Lead the remuneration analytical work including reporting and modelling as required.
5. Act as custodian of and maintain AGA's remuneration framework and structure.
6. Conduct market research and analysis to inform recommendations on overall employee remuneration and benefits.
7. Prepare and submit data for the annual WGEA reporting and manage relevant communications.
8. Provide role grading analysis to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
About You
9. Strong commitment towards leading a safe work culture
10. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
11. Proven experience in a remuneration and benefits role
12. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels within the organisation
13. In-depth knowledge of compensation strategies, benefits administration, and job evaluation methods
14. Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data analysis and financial modeling
15. Proficient in HRIS and data management tools for efficient information processing and analysis
16. Written and verbal communication skills
17. Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
18. Existing and ongoing valid Australian working rights (Mandatory)
