About The Role
This is a great opportunity to join our supportive and professional Food Services team at Grampians Health – Horsham. Working across a 7 day rotating roster between 6.30am and 7.45 pm, this casual role supports the delivery of nutritious meals to patients, residents and clients. You'll assist with food preparation, plating, delivery, and general cleaning duties to maintain a high standard of service and hygiene in our kitchen. Additional shifts may be available.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, plate and deliver meals and beveragesClean dishes, equipment and kitchen areasMaintain adequate supplies and storage areasRecord and report as directed by the Food Services ManagerSupport training of new staff and ongoing team educationCooperate with team and assist in daily service operations
Skills & Experience
Experience in a food services or kitchen roleGood time management and task organisationEffective communication and teamwork skillsUnderstanding of food hygiene and cleanliness (HACCP)Experience with cleaning procedures and kitchen standards
