We are seeking a visionary Content Strategy Leader to spearhead multidisciplinary teams in crafting and executing an annual content strategy. As Head of Content & Employee Experience Communications, you will lead teams responsible for modernising the content, including digital assets and publications to amplify the RBAs voice in Australia's economic conversation and deliver on the RBA's strategic priorities. Additionally you will be responsible for uplifting the employee experience communication function and delivering campaigns that foster the RBA's open and dynamic culture.

This role will report to the CCO (Chief Communications Officer) and is pivotal in delivering on the RBA Review, the RBA corporate plan, and the strategic priorities of the Communications Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Build and maintain robust relationships with senior executives to support the successful delivery of CD's strategy.
- Influence Change: Build trust and influence senior leaders and teams to support the significant enterprise-wide change happening across the RBA.
- Communication Excellence: Partner with the CCO and Leadership Communications lead to ensure coordinated delivery of leadership messaging across internal channels.
- Strategic Alignment: Develop and execute strategies for internal channels and audiences, focusing on driving context and alignment to the RBA's purpose.
- Team Management: Lead a high
- performing employee communications team and the external publications team to deliver high-quality content that resonates with internal and external audiences.
- Brand Development: Guide the Design Studio in crafting and implementing the RBA's brand identity and strategy.
- Performance Oversight: Oversee and contribute to the RBA's performance and corporate plan through areas of direct responsibility and cross-department collaboration and support.
- Culture Cultivation: Motivate and inspire an open and dynamic culture that reflects the RBA's values, fostering high levels of staff engagement and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Support enhancements to strategies, systems, and communication processes.
- Risk Management: Manage issues and risks effectively, safeguarding the reputation of the RBA and its senior staff within the RBA's risk appetite.
- Workforce Empowerment: Recognize and enable workforce performance, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Relevant tertiary education
- Proficient in crafting and delivering messages tailored to diverse audiences, contexts, and goals.
- Proven track record in formulating and executing strategies that enhance the engagement and expansion of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing operations, with a focus on optimizing budget allocation, team performance, and process efficiency.
- Skilled in conducting in-depth analysis of intricate risks and challenges, particularly those affecting organizational reputation and senior management.
- Extensive experience in leading organizations through change by directing, mentoring, and mobilising professional teams, as well as influencing peers and colleagues.
