ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Allied Health department provides services to both inpatient and community programs. The team consists of physiotherapists, OTs, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist, Social Workers and Allied Health Assistants. This position requires a physiotherapist to work as part of the multidisciplinary team within Mercy Health Albury which provides an Allied Health Service to the older person.
1. Mercy Health Albury - community transitional aged care program (initially)
2. Permanent - 80 hours available (consider full time and part time applicants)
3. Level 1 or 2 role (as per NSW Health award)
4. Salary range $68,255 - $95,298 (pro rata, excluding superannuation)
5. Assessment and interventions for older clients in a community/outpatient setting using evidence-based practice, working with a multidisciplinary team
ABOUT YOU:

6. Bachelor degree or Masters in physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
7. High level communication skills -verbal, written
8. Understanding of complex care for older people and interest in the aged population - including mobility aid prescription, home exercise programming, assessment and interventions for a range of conditions (orthopaedic, neurological, falls, musculoskeletal) and delegation to AHAs.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
