About Your New Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with Applications Experience for a long-term contract with a view to extend. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, coupled with extensive experience in managing and optimizing applications to support business operations and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
2. Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, leveraging application solutions.
3. Work closely with IT and development teams to design, implement, and maintain applications that meet business needs.
4. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making processes.
5. Develop and execute test plans to ensure application functionality and performance meet requirements.
6. Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of applications.
7. Monitor and report on application performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in application technologies to recommend best practices and innovative solutions.
About You
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on applications.
3. Experience of working in project teams within the critical infrastructure space.
4. Strong understanding of business processes and application lifecycle management.
5. Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis techniques.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
