To find out more visit our website at **.****About the role**MSS Security is seeking skilled Control Room Operators to work at the Nyaal Banyule Geelong Convention & Exhibition Centre, working across a 12-hour rotating roster. This role will see you supporting one of our clients by providing an exceptional understanding of systems and procedures of the site.**Duties include but are not limited to:*** Responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, contractor sign in, isolations, audits, incident reports, lost property and responding to email and phone enquiries.* Monitor and respond to alarm activations.* Ensure that all workplace incidents and hazards are reported in accordance with the companies' procedures.* Conduct patrols and maintain a visible security presence.* Assist in training new Operators and provide ongoing support.* Act as the Chief Warden when required or in the absence of the Security Manager, demonstrating strong knowledge of emergency management procedures.* Support the daily operations of the centre and MSS Security team, escalating issues when necessary.* Perform helpdesk duties on behalf of the Facility Manager after hours.* Act as the primary first aid responder, providing initial emergency response and carrying out warden duties.* Ability to work in multiple control room operator roles by following strict site policies and procedures.* Provide excellent customer service.**Requirements:*** Full Australian working rights.* Valid Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory.* Valid Victorian Drivers Licence or have a reliable means of transport.* Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).* 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster.* Fluent in English with the ability to write comprehensive reports.* Minimum 3 years experience in a control room or demonstrated leadership roles (highly desirable).**Master Licence Number:** 409-987-30S## **How to apply**MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.We are proud to:* be certified by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency,* be a partner and supporter of Veterans employment and honoured to have an endorsed INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan.
