Electrotechnology Trainer and Mentor Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an Electrical, Telecommunications or Renewable Energy trade background to work with Prevocational students and apprentices.
This is a role that you can develop within our team, working alongside a qualified Trade Trainer whilst being supported in obtaining your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of high-quality training in the Electrotechnology Trades.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist students studying the Certificate II in Electrotechnology with practical activities and training milestones.
* Use your industry knowledge and skills to instil in students to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workplace.
* E nsure all equipment for student use is kept in good and safe operational condition.
* Assist Trainer with daily activities throughout their training through use of Student management and expectations.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification/Trade certificate and Industry Currency in the Electrical, Telecommunications or Renewable Energy Industry.
* Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning.
* Agree to completing the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment if not already completed.
* Have good written and verbal communication.
* Moderate level of computer skills (MS Word and Excel).
