Start Date: ASAPAbout the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Threat Detection Consultant to join a high-profile SAP project based in Canberra.
The project is well underway and approaching go-live, so this role is critical in ensuring the system is secure, resilient, and ready to face current and emerging cyber threats.
This is a key short-term engagement with the strong potential for an extension as the organisation moves into steady-state operations and continuous improvement.Your Mission: As the Enterprise Threat Detection Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting a thorough review of the existing SAP landscape's security posture.
You will assess both current and potential threats, ensuring proactive detection and mitigation strategies are in place prior to go-live.Skills: ? Must Have: NV1 Clearance – you must already hold an active NV1 security clearance.
Strong background in SAP Security, with hands-on experience across roles, authorisations, and system hardening.
Practical knowledge of SAP Enterprise Threat Detection tools and methodologies.
Solid understanding of SAP GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance), especially in access control, risk analysis, and continuous monitoring.
Experience conducting security reviews and assessments in complex project environments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – you'll be working with both technical teams and business leaders.
??? Nice to Have: Exposure to cloud-hosted SAP environments (e.g., RISE with SAP or SAP on hyperscalers).
Familiarity with Australian Government security standards and frameworks.
